Partner Program
A worker training program you can put your name on
IRSC trains your customers' operators and Radiation Safety Officers. You make the introduction. We quote it, deliver it and support it, and you earn 10% of tuition on everything that comes from you.
For manufacturers of cabinet and industrial X-ray systems, XRF and analytical instruments, irradiators, security screening systems and sealed-source devices.
The machine ships. The customer isn't ready.
Your customer signs the purchase order and then discovers they have no Radiation Safety Officer, no trained operators and nothing to hand an inspector. The equipment waits. The install date moves. Your field service team spends the week answering questions about state registration requirements instead of commissioning hardware.
Sometimes the order never arrives at all. Not because your equipment lost a technical evaluation, but because the buyer could not see a clean path from purchase order to a legally operating system, and waiting felt safer.
IRSC has spent more than twenty years on radiation safety in industrial, research and manufacturing settings, including the regulatory work manufacturers themselves need: device registration, shielding calculations and licensing support. This program puts that behind your sales process.
How it works
Three steps, and only the second one involves you.
-
We map your equipment to training
At onboarding we work through your device families and put in writing which course each role needs, from the designated Radiation Safety Officer down to the technician who loads samples. Your team stops guessing what to recommend.
-
You put the link in front of the customer
We build a page on this site carrying your branding and showing only the pathways that apply to what you sell. It goes in the quote packet, the install folder, the equipment manual, wherever it fits your process.
-
We handle everything after the click
Quoting, enrollment, delivery, certificates, support and the reminder that goes out before their annual refresher training comes due. You receive 10% of tuition, renewals included.
What partners get
One tier. No thresholds to cross and nothing better held back for larger accounts.
- 10% of tuition
- On every enrollment attributed to you, including annual refresher renewals and additional operator cohorts at customers you have already referred, for as long as the agreement is active.
- A page built for your equipment
- Hosted here, carrying your branding, showing only the pathways that match your devices. Your customers see what applies to them rather than a catalog to work through.
- Materials your team will use
- A one-page flyer sized for quote packets, three email templates, two slides for your deck, a QR insert card for crates and manuals, and the Authorized Training Partner badge.
- A talk track
- The five questions customers actually ask about radiation safety, and how your sales engineers and service technicians should answer them without straying into regulatory advice.
- A 45-minute enablement session
- Run by us, for your team, during onboarding.
- A quarterly report
- Referrals, enrollments, completions, commission earned, and which of your customers have refresher training coming due in the next quarter.
What your customers get trained on
A starting frame. Your final mapping is confirmed in writing at onboarding and reviewed whenever you launch a new product line.
| Equipment | Who needs training | Where they start |
|---|---|---|
| Cabinet X-ray and screening systems | Designated RSO, plus every operator | Cabinet X-Ray Radiation Safety Officer Course for the lead, general radiation safety awareness for operators, annual refresher after that |
| XRF and analytical instruments | Instrument users, QC staff, supervisors | Specialized compliance course matched to the instrument type, plus annual refresher and supplemental safety training |
| Irradiators and sealed-source systems | RSO, authorized users, maintenance | 40-Hour Radiation Safety Officer Training and Core Compliance Training, plus regulatory controls training for source handling |
| Gauges built into production lines | RSO, line operators, maintenance | Short specialized compliance course for the gauge type, plus general radiation safety training for anyone working near the line |
| Any site shipping or receiving sources | Shippers, receivers, logistics, compliance | Regulatory Controls and Transport Training |
Courses run self-paced online for volume, and live over the web for RSO-level training where instructor access matters. Group and on-site delivery is quoted on request.
Commission terms
If your company can't accept referral fees
Some manufacturers have procurement or channel policies that make this awkward. You can waive the commission and have it converted into training credit for the customers you refer, or accrue it against IRSC consulting work. Tell us at signing.
- 10% of tuition, calculated before tax. One rate, every product, every partner.
- Approved 35 days after purchase, once the refund window closes, so nothing is paid out and then clawed back.
- Paid monthly by PayPal or ACH once your balance reaches $100. Smaller amounts roll forward.
- Renewals count. Refresher training and new operator cohorts at customers you referred earn commission for as long as the agreement runs.
- No clawback on churn. Once a commission is approved and paid, it is yours.
- W-9 at signing for US partners.
What we ask of you
Four things. There is no fee, no minimum volume, no exclusivity and no marketing spend.
- Name IRSC training in two customer touchpoints. Your quote packet, your post-sale onboarding email, the support section of your website, a page in the equipment manual, or your install checklist. Any two.
- Give us one named contact. Usually someone in marketing, channel or product management.
- Use the approved logo and approved claims. We supply both, and we review anything else within two business days.
- Take a call once a quarter. Thirty minutes. We bring the numbers and what we are hearing from your customers.
Who this works for
It works best when you sell direct, when your customers need a license or a state registration before they can operate what you sold them, and when your sales team can name deals that stalled on compliance rather than on price or specification.
It works less well if you sell entirely through distributors, since the person quoting is not the person we would be enabling, or if your equipment is exempt from operator training requirements in most states.
We will tell you on the first call if we do not think it fits. A partner who signs and never refers anyone costs us both time.
Questions we get asked
Do we have to sell the training or handle payment?
No. You make the introduction or hand over your link. IRSC quotes, bills, delivers and supports. Nothing touches your order system unless you want it to.
Is 10% negotiable, or is there a higher rate for volume?
It is a flat 10% for every partner, and that is deliberate. We would rather spend the effort on the materials, the enablement and custom work than on administering rate tiers. If your volume reaches the point where the economics should change, the conversation to have is about buying blocks of seats at a wholesale rate and including them in your own quote, which is a different agreement.
Do our customers get a discount for coming through us?
No. Training is priced the same for everyone, which keeps your recommendation credible and means you are never explaining why another buyer paid less. What your customer gets is a pathway already matched to the equipment they just bought, from a provider you have vetted.
Can you build training specific to our equipment?
Yes. We can produce a module covering your interlocks, controls and procedures and place it inside the course your customers take. It is scoped as a project rather than gated behind a volume threshold, so ask whenever it makes sense.
Who owns the customer relationship?
You own the equipment relationship, we own the training relationship. We do not market unrelated services into your accounts and we do not use your customer list outside this program. That is in the agreement.
What if a customer needs more than training?
Send them anyway. Licensing support, shielding calculations, program development, audits and regulatory approvals are all work we do. It reflects well on you that you knew where to point them.
How quickly can we launch, and what is the commitment?
Ten business days from a signed agreement to a live page and a full set of materials. The term is twelve months and renews automatically, and either side can end it with thirty days' notice.
Start with a call
Thirty minutes. We go through your device families, where compliance is currently costing you time, and whether this is worth doing. If it isn't, we'll say so.
International Radiation Safety Consulting (IRSC, Inc.) provides radiation safety training and compliance consulting to industrial, research and manufacturing organizations.
