The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has announced a Radiation Protection Adviser (RPA) workshop taking place on May 13, 2026 at the Core Technology Facility in Manchester.
This session is aimed at non-nuclear RPAs and will provide an opportunity to engage directly with HSE’s radiation team and discuss current regulatory topics under IRR17.
Planned discussion topics include:
- IRR17 interpretation
- HSE radiation policy updates
- RADAN case studies and feedback
- Recent enforcement activity
- Radiation workplan priorities
- Open Q&A session
